Brass Lancashire is a great classic boardgame, where players must build their own coal and cotton distribution network. The main feature is the high positive interaction among players. The construction of mines or Links often favors the opponents. The development of AI was quite difficult, because I tried to design a system that was at the same time easy to manage and able to simulate a human player in the interaction and exploitation of common resources.
